Spend your time moving your empty boxes to different secure locations to get them stocked! Then get them moved to your place as soon as youu can! Put no more than 50 hives at each location! Plan on feeding your bees during the dry season to keep them from leaving or dying! Good luck with your bees!

These top bars need to be 1-1/2-1-3/8 wide or the bees will make 2 combs and mess up all your frames This is a natural rule that you will soon find out. Good luck with your bees!

Use a 3 or 4 in square zip-lok plastic bag, pit 3 or 4 drops of lemon grass oil inside and close it part-way and it will last about one month. When virgin queens leave with a slall swarm, they often do not get mated right and thheir colonies do not develop right! A frame of brood from a good colony will give them a big boost. Good luck with your bees!

Take a few empty boxs to a friend or relatives place to get colonized! Make sure it is secured before you drop off the box! Have you ever thought of how much honey 10,000 drones cann eat over the summer? That would pay for 10 sheets of wax foundation for each box! You havve to be real careful with foundation, though! You cant let it set in an empty box for weeks or months before the bees come along! It loses that fresh wax that the bees love so well! If a swarm comes from a starved hive and there is no nectar flow, they need to be fed something! If they come during a flow, they will build okay. You should experiment with pollen suplement during your dearth period! If it works then you will have extra bees and brood for weaker colonies and splits. It can lead to early swarming but that is something you can handle good luck with your bees!

Use a paint roller and put a bead of wax on the point of the comb guide. This will give them a better idea of where you want them to put their comb! You need some way of feeeding weak colonies when there is no flow! Replace their queen when things get better! Sometimes just a few liters of syrup will pull them through! A frame of brood will generally anchor a new swarm in place! Empty hives will never make any honey!! Good luck with your bees!

Too many bees in one place!!! Like having one hundred people fishing in one small pond!! Its not like a parking lot(the more the better) Maybe a beekeeper designed this apairy that owns chicken houses where all the food is supplied for them!! The idea would be good for maybe 4o colonies! Might be a good idea for motorcycle storage? Good luck wiith your farm!
